    Your Highway 1 Bucket List

The City of Orinda, located 20 miles east of San Francisco and well-known for her rustic landscape, is singing a world-class Jazz beat at the 2nd Annual Orinda Jazz Festival this Sunday, Sep 30th, 2012.

Scheduled to appear will be Grammy Nominee and “Maestro Guitarist” Alex De Grassi, Grammy Winner Mads Tolling, and Carnegie Hall Performer Carol Alban, Marc Levine, Stephanie Bruce,Josh Workman, Groovality, Simon Russell, Aaron Germain, Deszon Claiborne and many more.

This is a one-day event, a benefit for Orinda Arts Council – Community Programs, an established non-profit foundation that supports performing arts, and it is for all ages, where people come to see, to be seen, and most importantly, to enjoy the company of friends and relatives. A popular segment of the program is the free community musical workshops offered by the performers to the general public.

Last year’s event was sold out, and this year’s festival, an event for all ages, is expected to reach the same level of success. You can bet that Orinda’s jazzy hospitality will get you all jazzed up!
