Harry Potter Movie Symphony to Enchant San Francisco

The tour will stop in San Francisco as well as San Jose

Muggles across the Bay Area will be flocking to the Davies Symphony Hall on August 12 and 13. Over the weekend, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” will be played in concert. Guests who attend the event will be able to watch the first installment of the film franchise on a 40 foot screen.

The movie will be accompanied by a full symphony that will be playing the soundtrack alongside the scenes.

If unable to make the August dates in San Francisco, San Jose will also be holding a Harry Potter concert just in time for Halloween. The San Jose Center for the Performing Arts will show the third movie, “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” October 27-29.

Since the film’s release almost 16 years ago, Harry Potter fans have been able to complete their journey with Harry through both J.K. Rowling’s book series and movies. London has also introduced “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” after Rowling published the play written novel. The production will also be coming to Broadway next year.
