State Highway 84 east of Sunol was blocked for nearly two hours Tuesday by a multi-vehicle crash that left a delivery truck on its side, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 2:36 p.m. and was just east of Interstate Highway 680, CHP officials said.
Witnesses said the delivery truck appeared to have lost control before colliding head-on with a sedan. The collision also clipped another truck, which forced that vehicle to careen into bushes off the highway.
No one was seriously injured in the crash, according to the CHP.
Both lanes of traffic were closed while emergency crews worked on clearing the highway. The CHP reported all lanes of traffic were open at 4:17 p.m.
