The Bay Area real estate developer behind last year's free @HiddenCash money giveaways on Twitter wants to build a state for refugees from all countries to live.
Jason Buzi's latest project, which is in the proposal stage, is called Refugee Nation. He hopes to someday build a home where some of the almost 60 million displaced people worldwide can reside.
"While many solutions are being sought for crises, both man-made and natural, it is shocking to find how few permanent solutions are being proposed," Buzi wrote in the Telegraph. "We have a humanitarian and moral duty to try to alleviate the tremendous suffering of refugees."
Buzi proposes a nation that will be governed by a "robust constitution similar to that of the United States," separated from church and state.
According to Washington Post, the United Nations is unaware of this proposal.
