The Bayview has seen what could be its first $1 million home sale, according to reports.
The Quinn house, a 19th-century home on McKinnon Avenue just off of Third Street, has sold for $1.3 million, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. It could be the 94124's first home sale of over $1 million.
Realtors are calling the neighborhood "red-hot," and they may be onto something: the Quinn house was listed at $899,000, making the sale almost 50 percent above asking.
The median price for a home in San Francisco has flirted with the $1 million mark for some time, but Bayview hasn't seen prices like that... until recently.
The price for a home in Bayview has shot up 59 percent over the last two years, according to reports.
