Hot on the Heels of Batkid, It's Wonder Girl

With its crime and financial woes, Vallejo is in greater need than other cities -- say, San Francisco.

Wonder Girl to the rescue.

A child recovering from cancer, Wonder Girl's identity is still secret. She will be unveiled Thursday morning, and embark on a mission of fighting crime, thanks to a generous group of residents of the Solano County city, according to the Vallejo Times Herald.

Wonder Girl is on the receiving end of a trip courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the same generous donors who turned San Francisco into Gotham City for Miles Scott, the 5-year old SF Bat Kid.

Like Batkid, Wonder Girl is fighting cancer, the newspaper reported -- hers is in remission but she'll receive chemotherapy until 2015, the newspaper reported.
