Hundreds Attend Rally in San Francisco Supporting Anti-Government Movement in Ukraine

Hundreds of people in the Bay Area held a rally in San Francisco Saturday in support of the anti-government movement in Ukraine.

They celebrated the news of the president's impeachment at San Francisco's City Hall, and they called on the international community to make sure there is a peaceful resolution during the transition.

"This is not over. We need to maintain vigilance, make sure that Ukraine has free and fair elections in the next couple of months," demonstrator Melanie McCutchan said.

The Ukrainian community in the Bay Area has raised thousands of dollars to purchase tents, gasoline, and boots for protesters in Ukraine.
