Investigators Continue Search for Sierra LaMar

Teams will be back out searching at 9 a.m. on Thursday.

Search and Rescue teams from the Sheriff's Office will return to searching for Sierra LaMar Thursday.

The search will have a refined concentration in the areas of San Martin and Gilroy, a press release stated.

Approximately 20 members of the Sheriff's Search and Rescue Unit, along with three Human Remain K9's will be combing the area for possible items related to the case.

The Sheriff's Office has been taking tips about the case, 24/7 and are continuing to follow up on leads.

So far, over 6,000 personnel hours have been dedicated to the Serra LaMar case, and over 1,000 tips have come in, which are being evaluated by investigators.
