Two years ago when he was taking over 'The Tonight Show,' Jimmy Fallon strolled into our NBC Bay Area studios.
Fallon at the time was hoping his brand of humor would work.
It has and in a big way, with Fallon grabbing the No. 1 slot in ratings ever since taking over for Jay Leno. He has proven fun and games leads to ratings gold.
Fallon said he does not feel any pressure to hang onto the top slot after the show's success.
"It's just a job, you got to keep doing it," he said.
Fallon occasionally catches up with Leno, who provides advice and tells him to "hang in there, keep working hard and keep having fun."
"If you enjoy you it, people can see it," Fallon said.
