It's been done before but when things work in wine country the process is quickly replicated.
Two years ago Murphy-Goode Winery got months of headlines as it conducted a nationwide search for someone who could Facebook and tweet on behalf of the wine-maker.
Now rival wine-maker Jordan Vineyard & Winery is also looking for a wine digital media coordinator -- and quite possibly hoping to enjoy the sweet viral taste that Murphy-Goode Winery enjoyed.
Some however were left with a sour taste in their wine-sipping mouths.
The Healdsburg winery is looking for someone to monitor Facebook and Twitter conversations about the wine-maker as well being able to use SEO for blog posts, maintain a Facebook calendar and operate Facebook and YouTube advertising campaigns.
Interested applicants are expected to have one to two years of experience in social media and video editing and a myriad of other tech and organizational skills.
Of course applicants must love wine and be willing to deal with the rigors of living in Healdsburg.
