Actress Julia Roberts and her production company have closed a deal to adapt the Batkid documentary into a feature-film.
The documentary depicts how San Francisco became Gotham City for a day to grant the wish of a 5-year-old leukemia patient.
The documentary, directed by a former NBC Bay Area producer, debuts Saturday at the Slamdance Film Festival in Utah.
