A King City man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for sex offenses against a minor, according to the Monterey County District Attorney.
In January, 38-year-old Felix Aguirre pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child with force and two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child without force, according to the district attorney's office.
Aguirre, the victim's step-father, impregnated the victim in the last of a series of assaults that occurred at ages 9, 12 and 13, according to the district attorney's office.
Aguirre will be required to serve at least 85 percent of his 22-year sentence, according to the district attorney's office, and he will be required to register as a sex offender after his release.
