Krispy Kreme Hiring for Its Concord Comeback

Donut franchise plans a return to the city it left four years ago.

Are you looking for a job and have a high threshold for sugar?

Krispy Kreme may be what you're looking for.

The purveyors of glazed donuts and glazed drinks will hold a job fair in Concord Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a new store opening in Concord.

The store is scheduled to open on April 24 at 1991 Diamond Blvd. in Concord, just down the street from where another Krispy Kreme store used to operate but shut down four years ago.

The job fair will feature openings of all levels, from management to supervisory, production, processing and retail.

Last November, the owners of the Concord franchise said in a letter to the city that it planned to employ between 60 to 70 people and remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The job fair will be held at the site of the future Krispy Kreme and it is open to the public.
