A brush fire in Lake County prompted mandatory evacuations Thursday night, according to Cal Fire.
The Grove Fire, burning in the area of Highway 29 and Spruce Grove Road, covered 15-20 acres as of 10 p.m., Cal Fire said.
Mandatory evacuations were in effect in the areas north of Spruce Grove Road and south of Noble Ranch Road, Cal Fire said.
Highway 29 was closed in the area.
