The Jersusalem Fire in Northern California's Lake County, six miles south of the Rocky Fire, grew by 2,000 acres to 5,000 acres by Monday morning, Cal Fire said.
The new fire was sparked off of Jerusalem Road in Middletown, about an hour north of Napa. Firefighters had not yet been able to contain any of it by Monday, Cal Fire said.
The Jerusalem Fire has been moving northeast in dense brush and steep terrain, according to Cal Fire. As the Rocky Fire is being controlled – it's now 85 percent contained – resources are being transferred from there to the Jerusalem Fire.

To make space for crews to work, Jerusalem Valley Road is closed to all traffic at Spruce Grove Road.
A mandatory evacuation order has been placed for the area of Jerusalem Valley from Spruce Grove Rd. East, according to Sheriff's officials.
Middletown High School is being used as the evacuation center.
