Lazy? Can't Cook? Pick Up Prepared Thanksgiving

SF Speciality Stores Offer Holiday Meals

No need to sweat over stuffing or stress over strudel this Thanksgiving season -- not when San Francisco markets have a plethora of prepared dishes!

Bi-Rite Market on 18th Street, for example, will sell you an entire turkey dinner for $169.99, according to the San Francisco Examiner. That includes the bird, the stuffing, soup, gravy, and some vegetables.

Yum.

Pick up a pie for $30 from Arlequin Cafe in Hayes Valley. Or visit either the Ferry Building's special Wednesday Thanksgiving Farmer's Market or the regular Civic Center Heart of the City Farmer's Market. The Ferry Building's open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Civic Center is selling persimmons, grapes, brussel sprouts, beets, garlic, onions and other necessary Thanksgivng treats from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The simplicity of food fresh from the farm makes a marvelous and memorable meal, the newspaper reported.

Or don't cook at all and have your meal catered by Il Cane Rosso at the Ferry Building. $30 buys you a meal, with dessert for $7. All you have to do, according to the newspaper, is "make mashed potatoes and set the table."
