Liquor License Suspended Indefinitely at San Jose's BBoss Restaurant and Bar for Lewd Acts

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control has suspended the liquor license of BBoss Restaurant and Bar in San Jose indefinitely for lewd conduct and selling alcohol during restricted hours, according to an ABC spokesman.

The ABC posted a notice of suspension Friday at the bar located at 385 North Capitol Avenue for repeated violations, ABC spokesman John Carr said.

Undercover investigators with the ABC said they found employees engaging in "illegal sexually-oriented entertainment" in late 2014 at the bar. The business was also selling alcohol after hours and disturbing neighbors with too much noise, Carr said.

The bar cannot serve alcohol during the indefinite suspension.

BBoss Bar had its license to sell alcohol suspended for 30 days due to similar violations in April 2014, according to the ABC.

And in February, Manny Zuniga, 34, was shot and killed outside a convenience store while working security at BBoss Bar.
