East Bay “Hummer Mom” Back in Jail

Parole agents said they discovered pornography

A Livermore mother sentenced to five years in prison for having sex with two teenage boys is back in jail, after parole agents swept her home and allegedly found pornography.

Parole Administrator Fred Bridgewater said Christine Hubbs was taken to Santa Rita Jail on Friday after agents were doing a routine compliance sweep. Possessing pornography violates the terms of her parole. A supervisor will now review the incident, Bridgewater said, to determine if there is enough evidence to send Hubbs to prison.

Hubbs was first arrested in 2010 on suspicion of having sex with two underage boys who were close family friends. One of the victims dated her daughter, according to investigators. She pleaded no contest to four felony counts: unlawful sex with a minor under 16 and lewd acts on a child. In exchange for her plea, 63 other felonies were dropped. According to the Oakland Tribune, she was ordered to serve half of her sentence and be on probation for up to 10 years.

Prosecutors said it was the victim's mother who initially found a nude photo on the boy's cell phone that brought the abuse to light.

According to court documents, the boys told investigators that they had sex with Hubbs at various spots around town including her Hummer H2 and hotel rooms. That is how she earned the nickname, "Hummer Mom."
