Doug climbs to the summit of Mt. Tamalpais' East Peak and gets to know Gary Yost, a fire lookout volunteer and a man with a huge passion for the mountain and a commitment to its future. Gary also devotes his time and talents as a volunteer filmmaker to support One Tam, an exciting new joint venture of four public land agencies and their non-profit partner to manage the mountain and its watershed cooperatively as a single ecosystem. Gary and a One Tam partner take us to the mountain's West Peak to see the remains of a long-abandoned cold war era Air Force facility which they hope to remove one day so the mountaintop can be restored to its natural condition.
