An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 shook the North Bay on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 3:22 p.m. and was centered about 8 miles west of Vallejo, the USGS said.
The temblor had a depth of about 7.5 miles and was centered in San Pablo Bay halfway between Vallejo and Novato, the USGS said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
