Man Arrested in SF Police Car Destruction During World Series Celebrations

A 19-year-old man has been arrested for helping to vandalize a police car during World Series celebrations that got out of control in late October.

The San Francisco Police Department says Friday Ryan Douglas London faces one count of felony vandalism.

They say investigators identified the San Francisco man London after combing through video evidence.

Police say the damage sustained by the vehicle was valued to be in excess of $10,000.

Authorities have made dozens of arrests following violent celebrations following the Giants' World Series victory. They say 28 San Francisco transit vehicles and nine police vehicles were vandalized in the wake of the Oct. 29 win.
