Man Caught With His Skirt Up

Kilt-wearing man flashed kids from park bench: cops

A 66-year-old Walnut Creek man has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself to several children as they played in a Pleasant Hill park on Saturday, police said Tuesday.

Shortly before noon, police received a call reporting that there was a man wearing a long shirt and no pants in Pleasant Hill Park.

When officers arrived, they found Henry Friedlander sitting on a park bench. He was wearing a kilt and no underwear, police said.

The responding officer allegedly saw Friedlander lift up his kilt and expose his genitals to several children who were playing in front of him.

Friedlander was arrested and booked into county jail. He remained in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility Tuesday. His bail has been set at $10,000, according to jail records.
