Man Chokes Woman then Disappears at De Anza College

The attack happened Thursday morning near a parking garage.

A man reportedly tricked a woman into walking with him, then suddenly choked her into unconsciousness at De Anza College in Cupertino Thursday morning.

The woman was walking on campus around 8:40 a.m. when a man came up and asked her for help, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Department. She agreed and walked with the man to the parking garage, where he started choking her until she fell unconscious.

When the woman woke up, the man was gone.

The suspect was described as a white male adult, 5’4” tall with blonde hair, wearing a green sweater with white letters and blue jeans. He also spoke with a Russian accent.
