Man Fatally Shot in West Oakland: Police

    A man was fatally shot in West Oakland on Monday afternoon, police said.

    Officers who responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of 32nd Street at 1:13 p.m. found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police.

    Officers and paramedics tried to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name was not released.
