A man in his 30s died early Friday morning in Sunnyvale after he was struck by two cars, authorities said.

Dept. of Sunnyvale Dept. Capt. Craig Anderson said the accident was reported on southbound Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road between Cheyenne and Homestead about 5 a.m., which was closed during the investigation. The road is expected to be closed until 10 a.m.

Anderson said it appears as though two cars struck the man at the corner of La Conner Drive. There are no crosswalks in the area.

Both drivers stopped "immediately" and are cooperating, Anderson said. No arrests have been made.
