Police on the Peninsula are warning women planning an early morning jog.
A 13-year-old girl out for a run Monday morning was followed by a man in a dark gray Prius, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
She first spotted him near Park Lane and Camino Al Lago in Atherton. She told police he took pictures of her when she stopped to tie her shoelace.
The girl eventually lost the man and reported the incident to police.
The suspect is being described as a Caucasian, unshaven man with a medium build and wearing a red and blue beanie. He was also wearing dark sunglasses.
Citizens are being asked to call the Atherton Police Department at 650-688-6500 if they have any information on the incident.
