Man Robs King City Market at Gunpoint

A man entered the Orchard Market at 44547 Teague Ave. at about 9:30 a.m. with a semi-automatic handgun and told the store's clerk to give him money from the register.

The man who robbed a King City store at gunpoint on Saturday morning is still at large today, according to the the Monterrey County Sheriff's Office.

The man entered the Orchard Market at 44547 Teague Ave. at about 9:30 a.m. with a semi-automatic handgun and told the store's clerk to give him money from the register, the sheriff's office said.

After taking the the cash, the man backed out of the store and fled. He still being pursued by the sheriff's office.

No one was injurred.

The Sheriff's office said the man was wearing a black sweatshirt and had a black mask covering his
face.
