Oakland-born comedian and television star Mark Curry is the Bay Area's newest radio personality.
According to All Access, Curry will host a morning radio show for KBLX starting on Oct. 12.
Curry is best known for starring in the sitcom Hangin' With Mr. Cooper from 1992-1997 and presently stars on See Dad Run, a Nick at Nite series that has run since 2012.
Curry's new show will replace nationally syndicated program The Steve Harvey Morning Show. KBLX personalities Kimmie Taylor and Victor Zaragoza will join Curry on air.
