U.S. Snowboarding: Meet 2018 Winter Olympic Hopeful Nate Holland

Just one hundred days until the opening ceremony of the winter Olympics and with the games getting so close, we are checking in with athletes from Northern California.

If Truckee’s Nate Holland makes it to PyeongChang, it will be his fourth Olympics as a member of the U.S. snowboard team.

Holland has yet to win a medal, but he is optimistic about his chances in 2018. At 38, Nate says he’s never been better at conditioning, training, and strategizing.

“I’m enjoying the journey and hopefully, that's what this Olympic gold medal is – a journey of four Olympics,” Holland said. “But you know it's a day of racing, anything can happen so I’m prepared for any result. I mean you gotta go for gold there’s just no other color out there.”

If Truckee’s Nate Holland makes it to PyeongChang, it will be his fourth Olympics as a member of the U.S. snowboard team.
