The numbers in the Friday multi-state Mega Millions draw were 6, 20, 29, 48, 55 and the Mega number was 6.
The estimated jackpot was $12 million. If no tickets were sold with all six numbers, the jackpot for the next drawing, scheduled for Tuesday, will rise to $19 million, a California Lottery official said.
The drawing was the first since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website.
The Mega Millions game is played in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
