In an effort to make Hotmail seem less outdated, Microsoft has cleaned up it's aging email service, and slapped a new name on it, calling it Outlook.

The service which is in a preview stage, is very clean looking, and does exactly what you'd want from a web-based email service. MS has integrated Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even Google Plus, so users can pull all their contacts into Outlook.

With Outlook.com, your conversations are richer with photos, updates, and tweets from Facebook, Twitter, and other sites. Your address book also automatically stays updated with your contacts from Facebook and Twitter.

You can check it out for yourself at Outlook.com
