Suspicious Device Found Inside Milpitas Wal-Mart Determined to be Fireworks

A suspicious device that led to a Walmart in Milpitas to be evacuated has been examined by a bomb squad and deemed safe, authorities said.

Officials inspected the package and upon closer examination determined the device to be fireworks. 

The investigation concluded around 11p.m. and there were no report of injuries. 

The Milpitas police is conducting a follow-up investigation to determine who may have placed the device inside the store.
