A search in Yosemite National Park for a 69-year-old Washington man has come to a sad
ending.
Park officials say search crews found the body of Gene Hall in his tent around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The cause of Hall's death has not been determined, but officials say it appears he died of natural causes.
Hall's body was found near Fletcher Lake, which is in the vicinity of the Vogelsang High Sierra Camp.
Officials say Hall had set out alone on a backpacking last Monday. He was reported missing when he did not return to his car on Thursday.
