More Alleged Victims Claim East Bay Chiropractor Groped Them

Dr. Steven Moon of Optimized Chiropractic, Inc. was charged with sexual battery earlier this month after a female patient told police he touched her inappropriately during a March 9 massage at his Concord office.

More victims have come forward claiming a well-known East Bay chiropractor groped them.

Dr. Steven Moon of Optimized Chiropractic, Inc. was charged with sexual battery earlier this month after a female patient told police he touched her inappropriately during a March 9 massage at his Concord office. Two other patients now said they were also victimized inside Moon's office.

"It's a similar type case as our first victim where he is telling them they are tense, that they have to ask him if they've ever had a full-body deep tissue massage," Concord Police Cpl. Christopher Blakeley said.

Moon, who is out of jail after posting $50,000 bail last week, appeared to be working on Friday.

Despite facing multiple charges of sexual battery, state records show Moon has an active license from the Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

The state said they are aware of the charges against Moon and are now investigating the allegations. But until Moon is convicted, his license will not be revoked, according to the state.

Moon is scheduled to face a judge next week.
