GMA Could Get Rude Awakening in the City

Good Morning America's snub of Adam Lambert could bring out the hecklers

ABC morning show Good Morning America is coming to San Francisco for a live segment from the annual tree lighting ceremony in Union Square this Thursday morning, Dec. 3. And they may be in for a surprise.

The show recently canceled a live performance by American Idol champion Adam Lambert, a San Diego native who was selected for Idol at auditions held in San Francisco.

That snub followed in the wake of a performance at the American Music Awards which featured Lambert kissing, groping, and suggestively dancing with -- gasp -- other men.

If you missed all the hot action, that's because ABC cut the performance from the feed taped for airing on the West Coast -- but don't worry, it's all over YouTube, even in HD so you can savor every crotch grab in stunning detail.

The whole controversy has lead local news site the San Francisco Appeal to suggest that homophiles descend on the tree lighting ceremony and mimic Lambert's performance for GMA's cameras.

Camera's will be rolling starting at 4 a.m.

Jackson West figures this will make a fine event for his birthday party.
