A motorcyclist died after slamming into a work truck on northbound Interstate 680 near Sunol, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider was seen splitting lanes on the freeway before the crash between Andrade and Calavera roads, the CHP said.
A Sig-alert was issued as the crash and response were blocking the two left lanes at the height of the evening commute, the CHP said.
