Motorcyclist Struck by Traffic in San Jose

A motorcylist flew over his bike Wednesday morning in San Jose, and was struck by oncoming traffic, according to initial reports by the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred about 8 a.m. at Highway 87 at Taylor Street. The motorcyclist was in the southbound lanes and hit the guardrail, according to the CHP. The motorcyclist flew over onto the northbound side of the highway, and was struck by oncoming traffic.

As of 8:10 a.m., the CHP report did not reveal any other information.
