Mountain View police say that one of their officers was struck and injured by a car while on the job.
The officer suffered minor injuries from the impact on Wednesday night in the parking lot of 1040 Grant Road in Mountain View.
Police said the officer was investigating a report of fraud attempt in the shopping center parking lot when he was struck by the suspect’s vehicle.
The officer was sent to the hospital for treatment and the suspects at the scene were detained.
