Much More Than Clinton, Trump on November Ballot

Although Hillary Clinton will likely lock up the state of California during the November election, a number of other ballot measures and candidates will be getting droves of attention, and money, from voters in the Golden State.

Roughly 500 million dollars is expected to be spent on candidates for a wide variety of elected positions in addition to issues ranging from employment to taxes.

Just in California, spots are up for grabs on the U.S. Senate, state senate, state assembly and more, according to NBC Bay Area political analyst Larry Gerston.

While Californians get educated about the candidates and ballot issues, the two presidential hopefuls continued to duke it out Monday with just over two months left to go in the White House race.

"Everytime I think about Trump, I get allergic," Clinton said Monday.

Trump, on the other hand, used the Labor Day holiday to bash Republicans for allowing manufacturing jobs to escape outside of the nation's borders.

"As a country, in terms of manufacturing, in terms of jobs, is going to hell," Trump said. "Our jobs are being taken out of our system."
