Following a series of weekend mudslides, the Marin County Sheriff’s Department tweeted out photos late Monday night saying a road on Mt. Tamalpais for “weeks.”
The closure of Bolinas-Fairfax Road is between Meadow Club in Fairfax and Ridgecrest Road on Mt. Tamalpais.
Engineers and road crews need more time to evaluate the repairs.
The El Nino-fueled rains also caused mudslides in Moraga, erosion on State Highway 121 in Napa County, cliffs to crumble in Pacifica and other damage around the Bay Area.
