NBC Pulls Plug on SF-Based Drama

NBC has put "Trauma" out of its misery. The one-hour drama set in San Francisco had scored poorly with critics and viewers alike.

NBC will finish producing 13 episodes that it had initially ordered. The show was on air for less than two months.

"Trauma" was the first television show shot in San Francisco since "Nash Bridges," which went off the air in 2001. The show's cancellation will be a huge loss of revenue for the cash strapped city.

Each episode costs upwards of $3 million to film.
