Napa Girl, 3, Found Dead in Bed, Police Searching for Mother and Boyfriend in Connection With Homicide

Police are investigating the homicide of a 3-year-old girl in Napa Saturday and are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of her mother and her mother's boyfriend, according to police.

At about 1 p.m., Napa police responded to an apartment in the 2000 block of Wilkins Avenue for a welfare check on a young girl.

Officers entered the apartment and found the young girl deceased in a bed, police said.

Police said there are signs of foul play, including blunt-force trauma to the child's body. There is also evidence of sexual assault, according to investigators.

The child's mother, Sara Krueger was last seen leaving the area this morning with her boyfriend, Ryan Scott Warner. They were both last seen carrying luggage from Krueger's apartment at about 10 a.m., according to police.

Neither Krueger nor Warner owns a vehicle and police have not been able to reach them on their cellphones.

Both the mother and her boyfriend are wanted for questioning in this homicide investigation, police said.

Warner is a 26-year-old white man who stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes, police said.

Police said Warner could be in the areas of Fairfield, Vallejo, San Francisco, and South San Francisco
