Netflix has been working on a separate section of its website designed for use by kids, with a kid-friendly UI full of kid-friendly content.
The new section will let kids select what they want to watch not just by title, but by character. Want to watch something with Big Bird in it? Just click on Big Bird. Easy enough.
There's very little text, with almost all of the menu options represented by images. It looks very touch friendly, if you were handing over a tablet to a little one. It's not clear when this will be rolled out or in what form, but it's interesting that Netflix is working on it.
