Oakland police say they have identified a "person of interest'' in the killing of a young mother whose body was dumped and set on fire on an Oakland street last week.
The name of the person suspected in the killing of 21-year-old Monica Rodas-Alfaro has not been released.
Investigators believe Rodas-Alfaro, the mother of a one-year-old son, was killed elsewhere and her body dumped before it was discovered around 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
Meanwhile, Oakland's Eastlake YMCA is hosting a carwash Sunday to raise money to help with funeral costs. Organizers also hope to raise enough money to set up a trust fund for her son.
