Oakland Police Investigate Two Separate Saturday Night Shootings

Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened late Saturday night in East Oakland.

The first shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 1300 block of 98th Avenue, a police dispatcher said.

One victim arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound. They're currently in stable condition, the dispatcher said.

The second shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 9400 block of B Street, according to the dispatcher.

In that shooting, a victim arrived at the hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound. They're also currently in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shootings.

In both incidents, two suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle, the dispatcher said.
