Oakland Police arrested an armed suspect Thursday morning after hours of searching the streets and barricade.
Police were in the 5800 block of International Boulevard in Oakland and communicating with a reportedly armed suspect who had been barricaded in the yards, officials said.
The suspect peacefully surrendered to police and no force was used, according to police.
No other information was immediately available.
