Oakland to Dismiss Parking Citations Issued During Strike

Oakland city officials on Tuesday said they will honor a previous statement that there would be no parking enforcement during the one-day labor strike.

Parking enforcement officers were part of the 3,500-worker large strike called on Monday.

Officials said anyone who received a parking citation issued by the City of Oakland Parking Enforcement staff on July 1, 2013, will be sent a citation dismissal letter for the city.
