Oakland Mayor Ron Dellums has started his own YouTube page to reach out to the residents of Oakland. The page will feature topics, discussions and press conferences from Dellums as they happen.
The Mayor is using the page as a way to reach out to the residents of Oakland. He has been criticized in recent months for being out of touch with the community.
Dellums became Mayor of Oakland in 2007. Since he took office, he has had to deal with tough issues including an increase in major crimes, severe budgets cuts and City Hall political scandal.
