Two firefighers are left injured from a house fire Sunday evening in Oakley, according to the East Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.

Dispatchers got the first report of the fire at 5:51 p.m. in the 4600 block of Lariat Lane, Fire Marshal Robert Marshall said.

Marshall does not know the severity of the injury, but he said one of the firefighters injured an extremity.

Firefighters from the two districts and Cal Fire got involved, ECCFPD Battalion Chief Jake Gonzalez said.

According to Golzalez, a CCCFPD firefighter suffered a laceration to the wrist and was taken to a Kaiser Permanente hospital in Antioch.

The other firefighter suffered a minor ankle injury that did not require medical treatment.
