Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Exposing Himself in Downtown Palo Alto

Palo Alto police have arrested a suspect accused of exposing himself in front of a business in downtown Palo Alto Friday afternoon.

Police responded at around 1:05 p.m. to a report in the 400 block of Florence Street about a man exposing himself on the sidewalk.

Investigators said the man, identified as 46-year-old Terrell Jackson of South San Francisco, was standing in front of a business with his genitals exposed. When the male victim, a man in his 40s and an employee at the business, told the man to leave, Jackson instead got in front of a woman in her 50s, who was walking to work at the business, according to police.

The woman then stepped around Jackson and went inside, locking the door to the business, police said. While inside, the man called the police.

As police arrived, the suspect ran. Police found Jackson at Bryant Street and Lytton Avenue and detained him.

Police said Jackson was on probation for possessing narcotics and being under the influence.

He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for indecent exposure, probation violation, and narcotics-related charges.
